We had an amazing last day, spending a fun afternoon at the beach in Santa Cruz. People went boogie boarding, played in the sand and enjoyed the awesome surf. Tonight we will have our final campfire at the beach.

Our last service project of the week is beach clean up with Save Our Shores. It is hard to believe how many pieces of trash are left on our beaches and end up in the ocean every day. It is awesome that our youth get to be a part of helping preserve God’s creation.

Today, we are serving at Elm Street Mission in Santa Cruz. Elm Street provides food and resources to the homeless and needy in the community. So far this morning we’ve cleaned their worship space and their picnic patio, and sorted and cut more than 20 gallons of strawberries.
